Real Care. Real Communities.
The Asian Network Foundation was initiated in 2021 when a group of friends came together with the intention of giving back to society. They were inspired by the thought and philosophy of Peter Senge, founder of the Society for Organizational Learning, who propagated that “sustainability, social equality and the environment are now business problems,” and that corporate leaders can’t expect governments to solve them alone.
What triggered these thoughts was the liberalisation of the Indian economy in the 1990s, which brought with it immense opportunities. Business revived, and India became not just a market, but also an investment prospect for the developed world. Disposable incomes and early settlements became a living reality for the working middle class. For the first time in India, professionals could think beyond making a living, and contribute towards society.
To build healthier communities where every individual, regardless of socioeconomic status, has access to fimely, affordable, and dignified healthcare.
To deliver accessible and ethical healthcare services through prevention, early detection, treatment, and education, while empowering communities to take charge of their long-term health and well-being.
Outreach
Under the Outreach model, we implement development interventions directly, as lasting impact requires intensive and professional engagement for a wider and more sustained outcome. While working in remote rural areas, we realised that an intensive on-ground intervention is needed, one that might be beyond the capacity of community-based organisations. That’s why we directly implement such projects, liaising with local community stakeholders for a better social return on investment.
We believe that education is both the means as well as the end to a better life. It empowers individuals to earn a livelihood while increasing awareness about health, social behaviour, rights, dignity and community development.

How We Work
We believe sustainable change begins with empowering individuals and strengthening families. Education, healthcare, livelihood, and community participation work together to create lasting social impact across every stage of life.
Our programmes follow a lifecycle approach, ensuring children, women, families, and communities receive the support they need to build healthier, stronger, and more resilient futures.
